Chennai September 5, 2012: MARG Navajyothi Vidyalaya, a CBSE School offering affordable education to first generation students around the neighbourhood of MARG Swarnabhoomi celebrated this Teachers Day with the launch of 'Technology Enabled Education'. The students & teachers of MARG Navajyothi Vidyalaya (MNV) had a meaningful celebration held at their sprawling campus of MARG Swarnabhoomi on 5th September 2012 in the presence of over 400 students who were excited to learn more about technology enabled interactive learning.

MARG Navajyothi Vidyalaya aims at creating a delivery environment focusing on a personalized learning experience allowing collaboration within and outside the structured learning environment. The Teachers Day celebrations were at graced by a number of dignitaries who felicitated the MNV faculty for their invaluable support and contribution towards education at MARG Navajyothi Vidyalaya, Dignitaries present included Guest of Honour Dr John Stuppy, CEO,EDUMETRIX Mr. V.Thiyagarajan, Founder and CEO, Sybrant, Mr. K. R. Ravi Kannan, serial entrepreneur, Ms Radhika, Faculty, One World Academy, Mr. GRK Reddy, CMD, MARG Group, Ms. Rajini Reddy, MD, Exemplarr Worldwide and Mr. AP Ganesshram, CEO – MARG Swarnabhoomi & Education Services.

Commenting on the emerging need for technology in education, Mr.GRK Reddy, Chairman and Managing Director, MARG Group said, "While the use of technology in education is gaining prominence in urban India, most rural children are yet to experience it. Technology will not only enhance traditional methods of learning but will at the same acclimatize the students to be comfortable with gadgets that deliver higher productivity and a superior learning experience. I am glad that MARG Navajyothi Vidyalaya has taken this transformational step of introducing technology led education; this will be of great benefit to the students."

Dwelling on the techno-education initiative, Mr. AP Ganesshram, CEO – MARG Swarnabhoomi and Education Services, added "The concept of technology driven education is a necessity today and it addresses the need to groom Indian education and students in tune with the technological advances that the education sector is witnessing globally. MARG Navajyothi Vidyalaya is headed by an educationist with more than 30 years of experience in school education. A team of trained teachers experienced in handling CBSE syllabus are taking care of the overall development of the children. Currently the school caters to Class LKG to IX. The school has the requisite infrastructure to take care of both academic & extra-curricular activities and offers programmes for singing, dancing, music and oratorical activities for the holistic growth of student en, this very first step towards technology led education will go a long way in enhancing the knowledge dissemination and delivery process at the school.
